Kio's sanity is stripped away by his twin brother Koa. His world is shattered leaving him broken and alone. With no one/nothing to bring him happiness. Until he meets a talking raven named Alder.
  
 At first, Alder seems like the perfect best friend. But could the smooth-talking, green-eyed, soul eater have an ulterior motive? 
   
Is Kio willing to kill to keep his only friend alive? Does he have a choice?

Meanwhile Koa's guilt over what happened at summer camp is slowly killing him. He fakes a smile with the help of his new girlfriend. But no matter what he does he knows he can never be normal.
   
Will Kio ever forgive him? Does a monster deserve forgiveness?
