Daniel was a true blue hoodlum, always getting into trouble, taking blame for fellow gang members. He ran away from his past and years later found himself in the independent wrestling circuits. Scarlett Bordeaux and Karrion Kross discovered him at a indie event in Detroit, Michigan. Brought him to the attention of Paul Levesque aka Triple H. He got a tryout and impressed him with his ruthless, no nonsense, in your face, smash mouth style. He let Daniel keep the name of The Hood. Even made the 30 year old debut on the night after Money In The Bank 2021. Almost a full year later, he met a girl that was absent from WWE for nearly three to four years. Cathy Kelley was back in WWE and heard about the new kid that's been making waves in the WWE and didn't really care about what people thought of him. She officially met him on the October 10, 2022 edition of Raw after he won the United States Championship in a fatal four way, and that's left where the story begins.
