After Weirdmageddon, summer was over, and it was time for the twins Dipper and Mabel to go home. Throughout the years Dipper has grown to have severe depression, and Mabel was no longer the silly supportive girl, after hanging out with the popular kids in school she's changed, she no longer comforted Dipper, instead she ignores him or insults him, and their parents don't treat him any better. Dipper felt so alone, he didn't have friends, he barely had family, he lost himself, he feels as if he has no reason to live anymore.
