One day, two powerful entities created various universes to one entire Multiverse. Each one doesn't relate to each other (well, besides there's times when some worlds collide but that's normal), however a mysterious evil queen decided to fuse the entire variety of Universes to one big World. The one who has to protect Multiverse, the Goddess of Universal Portals called Gaia, sealed the evil queen in her own crown, but she thought that she needs help of every hero in each Universe to fight against this big threat. Many heroes made alliances to fight against the one who swears that will destroy everything in the end. Will the  heroes will win the biggest fight of their lives so far? Or the evil queen will fulfill her goal?

Kate has no recollection of fighting in her forgotten past. Though after meeting Mario and Sonic, she found herself caught in their battles against Bowser and Eggman. But her powers may be for another threat. The three friends may have understood what Kate's power is. The Power of Dreams. But it seems that there was another reason why Kate had to understand her powers. A reason why she forgot her past and why she has her powers. A reason why she was brought to Mario and Sonic's world. A reason that endangered her, and has now put Mario, Sonic, and their friends into danger as well. And it's not like Bowser, Eggman, or any of their schemes. This threat is difficult to identify, when the only clues lie in nightmares that Kate is having. This is the point of discovery in the tale of Mario, Sonic, and Kate. This is the dark twist in the Tale of the Tale of the Three Heroes.

One day when Sonic and his friends decided to pay a visit to their enemy Dr.Eggman turns out it was all a trap. Eggman has built a vortex to other universes in attempt to look for other energy or powers to try to harness and use to take over the world. But something goes wrong. The machine malfunctions, causing everything around it to get sucked in. Eggman escapes and Sonic's friends go after him. Sonic on the other hand starts getting sucked into the portal, he tries to escape but fails and is going across the multiverse trying to find his way back home. This'll be the biggest adventure of his life, meeting new friends, discovering new universes, new foes, might end up having to save the multiverse. ¿Will Sonic succeed? Only one way to find out. A war is happening and the citizens are unaware, too cozy with their "perfect" lives to notice how the government they love so dearly has been experimenting and creating "weapons" right under their noses. The Werebeast, the governments weapon to winning the war, has escaped from their control with their proud inventor. ___ Or- Sonic and Tails are on the run from the government outside the city. Someone is sent after the famous Werebeast. The most famous name outside the city has enemy's coming his way every second.

Why has no one possessed it before? Could it be tied to what Kate has forgotten about herself? This is the next chapter of the tale of Mario, Sonic, and Kate.
