In This Heart: 1934

The story took place in 1934, on the outskirt of an old town in the Philippines. Juanita, a twenty-four-year-old fresh graduate, got to meet again someone who made her childhood the best one. The sight of Antonio brought a stream of memories even from afar.

Anton was Juanita's childhood best friend. Sadly, Juanita woke up one day and was told that Anton already flew to another country - all details of where and why remained obscure. Through time, Juanita had a hard time finding friends. In every circle she's in, she constantly compares.

In the present, when Juanita saw Anton again after being separated for ten years, Juanita was hopeful that he still remembered her. So, she started writing her a letter. Anton asked Juanita out to make up for their lost times, and that's when their friendship-turned-to-lovers' tale began.

Over the course of time, Juanita and Anton planned for their future together. Everything was inevitable, and both of them were eager until one day, Anton suddenly vanished and went somewhere, leaving Juanita lost and drained. Feeling betrayed and left behind, Juanita decided to keep on with her life. But after few years, she then again received a letter from her first and only love, this time with his reasons and willingness to do everything to be forgiven. However, everything came too late, and the love between them is already forbidden.

The story continues towards the circumstances both of them face. Now it's not just them hurting but also the people who love them.
