*For this story, V has a corporate lifestyle and her early life remains true to the game.
V manages to bring Johnny Silverhand back to life in his own body, 57 years after his death. However, doing so she sacrifices herself beyond the black wall. As her friends and those closest to her mourn her death, Johnny struggles to come to terms with the fact she is really gone, despite their rocky relationship when they first became acquainted with one another. As strange things begin to happen around him, he begins to question whether or not her death was real but all his questions are soon answered when an old acquaintance of V makes an appearance and shares some news.

This book is mid and I decided to do a different approach on v and johnny. Every book I read always makes v very rude to johnny or johnny just a complete asshole. While I love those books and their take, I wanted something different. So I decided to do soft!fem v and soft!male johnny for this book. It's mostly my own storyline. I do use some parts from the game. My 50-70 chapter book will have more fighting scenes and more about the game in it. But currently this is just something I wanted to whip up! I was 14 years old when they arrested him. She always had a good relationship with her mom, even after the incident. The passing of my older sister as well as everything that went down with her dad, her mom turned to alcohol for comfort. And looking at her now, it's like staring at someone you don't know. It's only one more semester until graduation. The dream is to find a good job, and get out of her toxic environment. To start over somewhere fresh, away from her past. But things never go as you plan. Every Friday afternoon Ashley stays at this cafe 'Gracht' to work. But on this one Friday something happened which changed her life for good. She never planned to get kidnapped by the Mexican Cartel, or to work with the greatest task force 141. And least of all, did she not expect to find love there. !!!
