This story is based on the video game of Cyberpunk 2077. Events from the game have been slightly altered so this story could take place.
*For this story, V has a corporate lifestyle and her early life remains true to the game.
V manages to bring Johnny Silverhand back to life in his own body, 57 years after his death. However, doing so she sacrifices herself beyond the black wall. As her friends and those closest to her mourn her death, Johnny struggles to come to terms with the fact she is really gone, despite their rocky relationship when they first became acquainted with one another. As strange things begin to happen around him, he begins to question whether or not her death was real but all his questions are soon answered when an old acquaintance of V makes an appearance and shares some news.

It wasn't really the result I was looking for. In fact, it was even better. I never really thought that this would happen to me. I never believed someone could love, well, me. But they did. He did. Anyway, let's start by becoming a mercenary and picking up gigs. That sounds simple enough, but getting a job from a fixer only to face off against an ACPA (Armored Combat Personal Assist) right off the bat-aren't we going a bit overboard here?
