Hannah Stone, just 18 years old, grew up on Ellis Island, and never intended to leave.  But when her plans are forced to change, she suddenly realizes she must cherish every day she last left on Ellis Island.  Just when she thinks her summer couldn't get any worse, in walks Leo Davis, a bad boy, "banished" to Ellis Island to spend the summer with his dad.  When Hannah and Leo's paths cross, neither of them can overcome their hatred and undeniable chemistry for one another.  But what happens when the two of them give in to their desires?
