Btw, the book may first seem like a sophitz story, but trust me, IT ISN'T. This is my first book so if anyone has any suggestions, please comment your feedback! I started updating again in July 2026, and i'll try to be consistent. I added a glimpse of chapter 3 below!
( keefe's jealous POV):
I'm making fun of bangs boy's broody black clothes - shades am I right - when I see Fitz look up at Everglen's gigantic staircase. I follow his eyes and my jaw drops. Sophie's walking down in a beautiful red dress, red is definitely her color as it brings out the gold flecks in her unique brown eyes. We all start making our way over to the stairs, when she suddenly topples over into Fitz's arms.
I try not to glare daggers at him as he cradles her against his chest, and my teeth clench. I can't let anyone know I like the blonde elf, since it's obvious she's crushing on Fitz and it would ruin everything. Still, I clear my throat, not enjoying the feelings I sense wafting off Sophie, a mix of embarrassment (which is cute because at this point Foster falls so often we're all used to it) and admiration. Sophie immediately let's go of Fitz and mumbles something, probably an excuse. I try to forget about this and cross my fingers that the sleepover stays Sophitz free.

In this fanfic, some things are in a alternate world. The Black Swan is a very popular and troublesome rebel group and the Neverseen is loyal to the Royals. Sophie was trying not to think about everything that was going wrong. First was her matchmaking drama, then Keefe had stopped talking to her. Tam was gone with the Neverseen and they were doing who knows what to him. But when Sophie thought her life was falling apart, it shatters into more pieces when the Neverseen make their next moves. Sophie learns how to move on, yet tries not to shatter as her world shatters around her. IF U DONT LIKE SOPHITZ DONT READ. There is sexual assault and rape so please be careful when reading I honestly want to take this book down. I wrote it over 3 years ago and after rereading it I noticed a ton of mistakes, plot holes, errors, etc. I dont have time to edit and correct it but since there are people who seem to enjoy it i have kept it up.
