"What is Darkwood? Is it really an insane asylum? Or is it more than that?"

Amina, a seemingly ordinary, quirky teenage girl, is kidnapped by the side of the road. She is taken to a place known as Darkwood Asylum. 

"Basically all of the maniacs and psychopaths in the world are here."

There, she meets others, similar to her, yet starkly, darkly different to her. 

"Her name was Fetricia. She was like a little sister to me."
"Wait? You mean the statue?"

As secrets of the past are uncovered and the truth behind the asylum is revealed, will Amina be able to hold on to her sanity? 

"It'sbreakingbreakingbreakingmeandtearingtearingtearingaholeinmymindwhereallofeverythinghiddeninthenothingnessthatIwantedtoforgetisrushingoutrushingoutlikeandendlessstreamofmythoughtsandfeelingsandthepainofitallmakesmesaymakeitstopmakeitstopMAKEITSTOP!"

Or will she fall into the abyss, like so many others have done before?
