Tommy worked so hard to get to where he was. He was a prodigy, completing the hero training program in only nine months. Come graduation day and every other Hero in the Order of the SMP were lined up to take him under their wing. But Tommy wanted the best of the best. He wanted Dream. But behind the scenes Tommy started to notice things. Despite being the number one hero, Dream was...Tommy knew only one thing about what happened that night.
But when Tommy tried to remember that night there were only painful flashes.
Dream did something to him, to his head to make moments scrambled like this. And the only place to turn to was the very place he tried so hard to get away from. The home of the SBI.

Why Is It Never Simple
He stopped to look over himself in the mirror. His hair was still dripping and he had a couple bruises littering his face. Tommy also took note of the small scrape at the bottom left side of his jaw. He definitely looked like he'd gotten into another fight. His family was definitely going to be worried about that, he might even get a scolding from his dad about fighting. He was not looking forward to that tonight. He sighed as he approached the door. Slowly turning the knob and pushing it open. Whatever he was expecting to find at eight something at night, it wasn't this. In front of him sat his brother in a wooden dining chair, with a few drops of blood on his yellow sweater, holding a handful of tissues to his nose. His father stood in front of him, ice pack in hand, black wings bristled from worry. They only seemed to stand up more as the older man looked over Tommy. "What the hell happened to you?" -Or- The SBI are a fully functional family, all secretly working in different Superpower Factions.

Things were alright on the SMP, Wilbur and Tommy had already established L'manburg, Dream was angry at the two of them but didn't seem to be doing much about it, not too much conflict was going on. That was a month ago. Tommy hasn't been seen in a full month. Wilbur was worried for his little brother and has been looking for the gremlin child but he was starting to get burntout. Tommy was like Icarus. He was soaring ever closer to the sun. He didn't notice his wings melting. He didn't care until he came plummeting to the earth. The air filled his lungs one more time as he hit the ground. He opened his eyes to find that everyone had left him to die, everything was gone. -- or Nov 16. Wilbur blew up L'manburg. Wilbur died. Tommy lost everything. But that's not what really happened. Wilbur begged Phil to take his life but the blond had another idea. Phil, Wilbur and Technoblade left to save the broken President but left Tommy behind. They had no idea that in doing that, they created their new enemy. Tommy lived with his dad and two brothers. They don't seem to care for him all that much. His friends also don't seem to care for him. One day he runs away and when his family finds out they go insane. Tommy gets found by this nice man named Dream. He lives with Dream for two weeks until his family kidnaps him. Bad Dream
His eyes, usually dull and sad, were ablaze with anger and hatred. He was done with Dream, he was done letting people hurt him, he was done with L'manburg and how much pain that place alone had brought him. "It's a place that only holds sorrow and fear now, Tommy." Wilbur had said, his brown eyes dull as he spoke. "It's brought grief even to us, hasn't it." Wilbur looked at Tommy before he continued. "It's not the place I built, L'manburg not the place that you and I loved." How right Tommy realized Wilbur was. The place he had once called home was no more than a breeding house for the chaos and sadness that now plagued the SMP. He wished he hadn't been so blind in the beginning, listened to Wilbur. But he had hoped that L'manburg wasn't a lost cause, that what he had fought so hard for was still salvageable. But he knew that L'manburg was always meant to fall, and they had only delayed it's downfall. "I-I'm sorry Wilbur... I should have listened to you." He whispered out, he knew his brother couldn't hear him but he could hope that his words would travel into the afterworld to reach his ears. "Please forgive me." He wiped his tears away vigorously, looking towards the now-destroyed nether portal. "I'll finish what you started... I'll do what should have been done." Might As Well Be Dead
Tommy had gotten away from Dream in the canon universe, but in another Tommy was caught and turned into a living punching bag and, kinda, an experiment for Dream later on. He didn't expect Tommy to lose his emotions, the nervous system that told him when he was in pain, and even the will to carry on without Dream by his side. He didn't think that killing and reviving Tommy would affect him so much, but then again Dream wasn't complaining in the slightest. He finally had full control over Tommy, something he'd been craving since he first met the teen. He was not about to let his grip on the teen loosen.
