Artemis Hall, a boarding school for girls where the unwanted girls were sent- illegimate daughters, troublemakers, rebellious girls, refuges, girls too smart for their own good. In the small town it was located, Artemis Hall had the reputation for being haunted. Four roomates bond over their fears- that is until one of them mysteriously dissapears.

Almost seventy years later, journalist Nico Di Angelo is still griving over the loss of his sister thirteen years after her murder, still looking for answers that were never given. When he discovers that Artemis Hall is being restored by an anonymous benefactor, he decides to write a story about it. But when a shocking discovery leads him closer to the secrets meant to be hidden in the school, things might not turn out nicely.

After a year away at Kitty Hawk, Cassie Maybank returns to the Outerbanks with a determination to get her life back on track. To stay healthy, to make her own friends, to live a normal, steady life like every teenage girl should. But after hearing the news of the passing of one of her closest friends, and coming back to the island, she realizes her brother's letters severely underestimated how much had truly changed. A lot can happen in a year. Friends become strangers, brothers become liars. Some enemies become allies, some enemies become lovers. © Inslaytiable | June 22nd, 2023
