Korra and Asami have been happily married for 5 years. They've adopted a fourteen -year-old girl called Akemi, and she loves both of them as if she were her own flesh and blood. Waking up to Korra missing isn't unusual - she is, after all, the Avatar. She could just dissapear for days on end. She has a signal to Asami - she'll put her wedding band on Asami's finger if she's okay. However, one morning Akemi and Asami wake up to find the Avatar missing... And she didn't leave the signal.
