"I'm so sorry Hunter," I said, wiping my tears like the big baby that I am.

"Unbelievable," he replied in a grave but alluring tone and walked away.

Echo Adams is a mild, radiant and awkward teen who does nothing but hang out with her two best friends, homework and read books. Although she has never been noticed by anyone since middle school, she managed to capture the eye of a pretty nerdy guy, Xander, the President of the robotics club. She broke up with him before senior year started and to her surprise, Xander already found a new girlfriend, Hazel.

And then here comes charming Hunter who she may or may not be dating without his consent.
Hunter Brown is a typical teenage jock who's always noticed by everyone, but is different from all other jocks. What's different about him is the fact that he hates being noticed and being popular.

Throwing in Echo's terrible fate of her father, her desire to be popular going wrong, the drama between her and one of her best friends, the love triangle she got herself in and most importantly, her dreams of going to UP University being crushed, senior year wasn't going to be as perfect as she expected it to be.
