Twenty-three year old Mira is the bastard daughter of the Pirate Lord, and the only female captain in his fleet.
For five years she has captained the fastest ship on the seven seas, and now, her father has threatened to take that all away. After the Pirate Lord claims Mira is not fulfilling her duties as a member of his fleet, he gives her six months to collect more plunder than any other captain. To ensure the job is done, he sends Mira's oldest enemy and deepest weakness, Bellamy Black, to watch her every move.
With Bellamy holding the key to Mira's freedom, she must fight the past the two share together while keeping her crew alive as they embark on a journey through treacherous seas.

Before I could move from his glare, he was striding forward. I could do nothing but back up, landing my back flush against the shelves. Glass jars rattled as he came within inches of me, leaning a hand to rest on the shelf at my shoulder.

"It's good to see you again, Mir," he muttered.

"Don't call me that."

A smirk. "I am looking forward to these next few months, Captain." His eyes slid to my lips, pausing there before he raked them up to meet mine once more. "Be a good girl now, will you? I would hate to report something to your father that would get you killed."

"Prick."

"Princess."

And then he was gone, leaving nothing but my rapid breathing and the smell of cedar to fill the small space.

The sound of distant bells began, signaling the tide. With it, shouts rose up from the deck, my crew readying to set sail.

My heart pounded in my ears.

I took in a deep breath. If he wanted to play that game, then so be it.

I was going to make his life hell.

At least it used to be before she disappeared for a decade. Her mother being a fallen Pirate Lord, her father being a fallen Commodore left her an orphan at the age of 17. That didn't slow her down. She made a name for herself in her ruthlessness, saving no mercy for any gender or rank. Along her life she got herself into a spat with Davy Jones on the seas, interfering with souls he was trying to collect by force. She said it was an imbalance to the natural order but he in turn nearly killed her..Tia Dorma nursed her back to health when she found Jessica washed up on the shores of her island. Her entire crew had been killed and she was left barely alive. So Tia Dorma decided to held her in exchange for her beating heart. Jessica didn't understand at the time, and claimed she had no use for it so she could happily take it. Everyone she ever cared about was dead anyways so what did she need it for? However, Tia said there was much about a human heart that she had yet to lean and she would only give the heart back once it heals and Jessica could "properly utilize it" whatever the hell that meant.. Until then Tia would put a spell on Jessica. She couldn't die until something in Jessica stirred that cold heart of hers..read to see more! She opened my legs standing in between them. She ran her hands up my stomach, over my breast and to my neck holding it with both of her hands, making me look her in the eyes watching them slowly turned red. Valeria moved my head around, tightening her hold on my neck causing me to close my eyes. Yet she pinched the side of my neck causing them to open again-to see her eyes fully red. "Tell me what you are here for" Valeria whispered, pulling my face closer to hers, looking me in the eyes as her pupils grew. "That doesn't work on me" I whispered but she just smirked, pulling me closer-to the point our noses were touching. "Of course it does baby" Valeria smirked, quickly her pupils formed into a thin line and her smirk disappeared, "Tell me baby-what are you here for" She whispered and this time the weight of telling her was on my chest, choking me. "Agreement-" I started causing her to nod and pull away her hands still on my neck, "I want us to feed off of each other through sex" I said and instantly the weight was gone.

In the heart of British-ruled India, where the monsoon winds carried whispers of rebellion and the air was thick with the mingled scent of jasmine and gunpowder, a story was waiting to unfold-one that defied the rigid boundaries of empire, status, and destiny. Amid the cobbled streets and lush estates of jaipur, young Mira, barely eighteen, served as a housemaid in the grand home of Captain Edward Sinclair. Born into a family marked by hardship and resilience, mira carried the quiet strength of her ancestors in her dark eyes and moved with a grace that belied the harshness of her life. To the British officers and their families, she was invisible-just another native servant, a silent witness to the grandeur and the brutality of colonial rule. But to Edward Sinclair, an enigmatic and conflicted officer haunted by his own transgressions, she was an unexpected mirror to his conscience and a source of uncharted emotions. Bound by duty but restless in spirit, Edward bore the weight of secrets that had turned him into a pariah among his own kind, and it was in Anjali's presence that the sharp edges of his guilt began to blur. Their worlds were as different as the scorching sun and the cool, hidden streams of the Indian forest, yet fate conspired to weave them together. In the simmering tensions of an India yearning for freedom, their connection would challenge not just the chains of colonial power but the very notions of love, loyalty, and betrayal. This is a tale of forbidden passions and unspoken truths, where loyalty is tested, and hearts become captives of an era that sought to suppress them. As the empire's shadows lengthen and choices become as perilous as they are inevitable, Mira and Edward must decide if their bond will survive the fires of division-or be consumed by them.

But you know what, someone has to tell you all this. That how much of a monster you are! Even a monster is better than you!" He smiles, widely. "Sounds like a compliment." "You are unbelievable!" He inhales a deep breath. I know he is angry and trying to maintain his composure. He approached me again as I subconsciously takes a few steps back until my back touches the cold wall. He put his palm on both the sides of my head as I looks up at him. "Hm, unbelievable you say. My love, I must admit that you are unbelievably gorgeous, an angel dropped from heaven and landed in the hands of a devil. But, you should watch that pretty tongue of your sometimes." He whispers in my ear, his breath hitting my ear making my goosebumps erupt in an instant. "Or what? You will cut my tongue out? Just like you do to others who talk back and spits facts about you, at your face?" I says as harshly as I can. As much as I wants to hurt him just by my words, it seems like he doesn't care. He didn't even budge on what I says. Instead. He smirked. "Oh darling, I have better options for your tongue in that case." ~

"Wake up." The icy splash of water jolted Jasmine awake, her breath hitching as reality crashed down. Disoriented and trembling, she barely registered a hand striking her cheek. The sharp sting and the metallic tang of blood grounded her in a nightmare she couldn't escape. Sebastian loomed over her, his presence as sharp and cold as the venom in his voice. "Welcome, princess. How do you find Montague's hospitality?" His smirk was colder than the water dripping from her face. "I bring news," he continued, his words cutting like a blade. "Your father has finally met justice-straight to hell." Jasmine froze, tears welling in her eyes. "No," she whispered, shaking her head. "What happened to my father? What did you do to him?" Sebastian's smirk twisted into something darker. "What did I do?" he repeated, his voice low and venomous. "I gave your father exactly what he deserved-for destroying my sister's life, for tearing my family apart." He leaned in closer, his gaze piercing and unrelenting. "But don't mistake this for an ending, Jasmine. This is only the beginning." Her voice cracked as she pleaded, "Please-you've got it wrong. My father and I would never harm anyone!" Sebastian's grip tightened on her chin, his unrelenting gaze boring into her. "Spare me your innocence," he hissed. "I should be glad he's dead-but I'm not because I didn't kill him myself. So I'll settle for you. Every tear, every ounce of pain, will torment him in his grave." Even as fear consumed her, Jasmine's voice trembled with defiance. "You're wrong. Whatever you think you know, it's a lie." Jasmine's memories were fragmented, her past shrouded in mystery. She couldn't even remember her father's face, let alone the sins this man accused them of. She didn't know where to begin, or who to turn to for answers. But one thing was clear: He wasn't just her captor-he was her storm. And the storm between them had only begun.
