Soulmates AU

A lot of people in the world hope to find love someday. Well Marinette is one of them and so was Adrien. They both hoped they'd find someone to love forever. Adrien strongly hoped for that person to be Ladybug who was no wait, who is Marinette. Marinette has always held a special place in his heart, maybe a place more special than the place Ladybug held but he usually ignored his feelings for her due to reasonable reasons.
Marinette, however, wished that person would be Adrien Agreste who is her partner in crime, or rather fighting crime. She always knew that if Adrien hadn't existed, she would've been head over heels for Chat Noir, little did she know if Adrien didn't exist, she couldn't possibly be head over heel for Chat because, well, he wouldn't be there either, therefore she wouldn't have known him. She always wished for a miracle to happened so she could have the confidence she needed to confess. Although Alya and the rest of her friends gave her support it wasn't enough, she'd always feared she'd lose him if he rejected her and, alike Adrien, their friendship meant a lot to her.
What will they do when Lila or should I say Lie-la? Like seriously, should I say Lie-la or Lila? Anyways What will they do when she starts rumors of her and Adrien dating? What will Adrien do to end the rumors? Will he just play along or will he speak up for himself and tell everyone the truth? What will happen when Marinette hears these rumors? Will she believe them or will she not? Did I mention soulmates would be involved?

This is my first public story. I finally have the courage to post one of the many I have made. I do not own a lot of these characters. I do not know if anyone has ever made a story with the same concept but if someone did I will change some things around so they'd have a difference. Hope you enjoy the story. Also a little warning, they may be grammatical errors, spelling errors, faulty translations and even some absurd language may be used, occasionally.
