Damon Salvatore has returned to Mystic Falls with his best friend Rosangela (Rosa) Rossi.
It is now 2010 and they have returned to Mystic Falls with one goal, possibly two if you include tormenting Stefan's eternity as they have done for the last 145 years. Soon things start to take a different route and everything is no longer as simple as Damon and Rosa thought it was going to be as secerets begin to unravel and new relationships form, testing the boundaries of old ones...
This book follows the events in Season one of the Vampire Diaries, with the possibility of a whole new love triangle.

It's been 15 years since it all began. Elena is in a coffin, Bonnie has moved on with her life, and Matt became the sheriff of Mystic Falls. Stefan's humanity is off the rails, Alaric and Jeremy have given up on life, Enzo is off in Europe, and Damon is in his house doing who knows what. Caroline left Mystic Falls and is traveling the world. Then, she runs into a certain hybrid in London. Who knows what will happen. Will Caroline still hold grudges from 15 years ago? Or will she finally give in to her feelings? *I don't own any of these characters. Only my plot line is my own. All rights are reserved to Julie Plec and L.J. Smith!
