When Ladybug, Chat Noir, and the rest of the superhero team finally defeat Monarch once and for all, they're ecstatic. They can go back to their civilian lives, and leave the past behind them.
If only things were always that easy.
When a miraculous gets misplaced, Marinette becomes frantic. How could she have lost such an important item, especially considering everything her and the team went through to get them back? To make matters worse, Master Suhan's once again demanding that she hand over the miracle box, going as far as issuing an ultimatum--either Marinette returns the miracle box to him in two week's time, or he takes it from her.
Marinette needs answers to her questions, and fast. Who can she trust to help her find the lost miraculous, and will she ever be able to put her days as a superheroine behind her?

The King and Queen had to move away from China when Marinette, their daughter, was born because of other duties that they had to do in Paris. 14 years later, Tom and Sabine drop the Princess bomb on Marinette and they have to leave to go to China to let them know that their daughter will be returning and will be the next Queen in line. Meanwhile, Miss Bustier has organized a trip to China for the week to see the Royal Families return and is offered to stay with them and have a meal to meet the princess. Marinette's parents knew about this and told Marinette. Marinette's parents also told Marinette could tell Alya and as she would be the lady in waiting. Hawkmoth follows the class to China blah blah blah akumatises people blah blah and then a huge ass fight goes down between Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Hawkmoth. Hawkmoth is defeated and Marinette's secret of her being ladybug gets out. Her parents are shocked and angry and happy at the same time but are worried for their daughter's safety.
