I panted as I ran at the speed of light to find an exit. The woman in the black drench coat told me to run and never look back until I got home. I headed for the secret entrance I remembered walking into. As I ran, I grabbed my phone out of my back pocket to see what time it was. The clock said 10:23. I kept running through the mall trying to find my escape. I wish I never came to this stupid lock in, in the first place. If I hadn't, I might not be in this life or death situation that I'm in now. I was getting close to the back door, and I ran down the dark, barely lot hallway that had an aroma if smoke. I pulled my shirt over my mouth and nose as I sprinted to the rustic door. This could be it. I quickly start to look around the place before the torture starts. Every piece of information I can get stands out to me as my mind connects the pieces. Brianna also seems jumpy as she watches Raphael get up to look at the farthest door where the other passengers came from. Raphael takes a surprised step back as he looks through the small window again. He slowly turns around and his face is pale as he says, "The other part of the subway is gone." "What?!" A tall man says with wide eyes. "No! That's impossible! We just came from there!" The rest of them nervously look around as Ben gets up to look through the window of the conductor's room. Michelle gets up to see what Raphael keeps seeing and Brianna lets out a nervous pant. "There's no conductor." I stand at this and my blood falls to my feet. Frantic looks go around the place and nervous voices fill our ears along with the scrapping sound of the subway. I turn around to look at the other passengers and my eyes catch the red lights from the moving letters on one part of the roof. I gulp and sweat starts down my neck as I read its bright letters.
