So this was supposed to be a short Dave X Dirk but some people wanted more so now there's some more plot. Prompt: could you possibly do one where Dirk and Jake break up, and Dirk is heart broken while Dave tries to cheer him up, then some stridercest? My Response: Sorry this took so long. I know this was asked like 2 months ago, but I have a really hard time making my old laptop work and I'm not even posting this off of my regular laptop. So it will take me some time to post things until I get that new laptop most likely at the beginning of next year.Complete

On the first day of 8th grade Jack Barakat notices the new kid, soon to be known as no other than Alex Gaskarth. By just one glance at him from the crowded school hallway, Jack has come to the conclusion that he hates him already. Alex just moved to Baltimore and he already has all the popular kids wrapped around his little finger. How he managed to climb to the top of the popularity list is beyond Jack's knowing. All Jack know's is that he can't wait to be far away from the school, from the popular kids, and farther away from Alex as possible. But what happens when a thought gets planted in Jack's lonely mind? When Jack starts to question things, question himself even, things take an unexpected turn. Did he really want to be far away from Alex? His mind said yes, but his heart says other wise. Everyone always tells you to listen to your heart, but people who are wiser than him-insert sarcastic laugh here- like his mother, his teachers, ect. yells at him, "Use your goddamn brain Jack!" So now the skunk color haired boy has to make a decision. Should he take a chance with his thoughts, or should he just forget them and be left to wonder the ultimate question. "What could have been?" My father got a promotion so he packed and left but that doesn't mean he doesn't love us he told my brother. My little sister went with him too. I'm 17 and I have brown hair but kinda is a Carmel color at the same time. I have bright blue eyes and I'm the head cheerleader. If I could describe my self it would be; Sweet, stubborn, and I say a lot of sarcasm. So you know how some stories start with the head cheerleader and the captain of the football team fall in love and live happily ever after. Well that's how my story goes, kinda Meet Jayden Smith. I've hated him ever since I moved here five years ago. He's the football captain but there's a twist. He's the bad boy of our school. He has a gang. He street races and he fights and break dances. But I guess we kinda started liking each other. Then you got your queen b of the school. Her names Nicole Lynn. We used to be best friends but then I got cheer captain and she didn't. She bullies me and right when I snap everything falls down hill with me and Jayden. But we bring it back up. Book 3 of HomeLess Growing up in a family was what most kids who didn't have one, would dream about. As he got older, however, A.J. found himself dreaming about the same thing... yet he had a family. He'd been loved by that family as a child, but as he grew, their attention slowly shifted to his younger brother. He came to understand that his adoptive parents would focus a little more on their actual genetic child, but he wasn't prepared to deal with how quickly he lost everything he had cherished. The packed lunches stopped coming when he turned ten. Eleven, the birthday parties ceased. At fourteen, his younger brother was 'too old' to have to share his room, so A.J. was moved to the small laundry room. At sixteen, there were no more 'I love you' or 'have a good day'. At seventeen, the lunch money stopped and the hateful glares started. Then the angry words. Everything he did was wrong. The dishes weren't clean. The laundry wasn't folded right. By the time he finally graduated, a few days after his nineteenth birthday, there was no more attention of any sort. They ignored him, except to tell him that his chores weren't done well enough and that he didn't deserve to eat until they were. A.J., desperate for some sort of attention, and honestly starving, tried one last thing to get them to at least show so semblance of caring, even if it was negative. He told them that he was gay. At nineteen, only a few days after his graduation, A.J. was kicked out of his home with an empty stomach, and an empty heart.Complete
