Alice Thatcher never thought she would become rich at the age of fifthteen. All her life she had nothing but her wild and caring mother, her four other siblings, and her dopey pet boxer, Kiki. They lived in a small apartment in the depths of Colorado and struggled to pay rent each and every month, but that never stopped Alice from being happy. She was content in her little house but big home. But her mind wandered far away to different places and dreams. Her talent for music was extraordinary. Before she learned how to write, she was able to fluently play several different instruments and could sing like a goddess. She loved it and yearned to go places with it, but she knew she could never leave her family, so she never put more than simple thought to the idea. Until after a certain hard patch in her family's finances, and Alice decides to take a risk for herself and enter America's Got Talent. She never thought she would make it past auditions, let alone win, but she did and ended up walking away with one million dollars. Now, nearly two years later, she was offered a scholarship to one of the most wealthy and elite private schools in the country. The entire summer she has prepared herself for her senior year amongst young one-percenters, and has set herself five simple rules: 1. Don't make enemies. 2. Don't get attached. 3. Workout every week night. 4. Have fun (but not too much fun). 5. Finish the year with everything she needs to accomplish her dreams. Little did she know that on her first day of school, she does not in fact break any of these rules . . . But she does get arrested with five of the most popular and rich students in the entire academy. If you want to know how, read Playing Rich to find out.All Rights Reserved
