In which a ranger with a dark past joins the fellowship on a suicide mission.
What could go wrong?
----------
She spent thousands of years hiding,
most of Middle Earth knew her story, and how she died a witch, an evil one
Oh, how wrong they were
She hid, put on a hood and a mask, and became a shadow

The Silver Shadow was a hero in the story,
and Thalia Blackfire was just another villain in a different story
But its all about perspective
Not many people know that Shadow and Thalia are the same person

The Nature Queen Series: Book 1 Light. Dark. No one ever thinks twice about the two, as long as one or the other is in balance. When darkness falls, the people are in despair while those protected by the light live in peace and prosperity. In this time and day, where the balance tips toward the darkness on Middle Earth, a new evil arises from the ashes of a long lost enemy. Reiness Greenleaf Wolf, with her father's open idealism and her mother's magical quantity, finds herself in the middle of the Black Witch's return, her darkness shrouding the land. With her own magic of light, Reiness is found guilty of being the only one who can stop the wrath of this new threat. Morana Evaless knowns this too, and her plan to do away with the daughter of Legolas Greenleaf and Arabia Wolf is set in motion. With her twin brother Ronan and her best friend Thalia Oakenshield, Reiness must help unite Middle Earth once again to defeat the Black Witch by returning to her kingdom after three years of captivity within the enchanted walls of Morana Evaless' hidden fortress. By this time, the Black Witch has her hold on Middle Earth, not anticipating young Reiness to journey across the moors to find the one thing that would give her army an advantage: the mystical Stone of Luminosity, a stone that is said to give a Caliquendi power like no other. As war brews within the world of old, the new generation must take matters into their own hands to stop the Black Witch before darkness overcomes their lives.

SHADOW IS AZH'NAHN, A POWERLESS MAGE born into a culture that prides itself in sharing the earth's powers. When he chooses a life of voluntary exile to preserve his family's honor, Shadow receives a mysterious call to witness the unearthing of kotrakoy, treacherous telepathic beasts with four wings and four rows of teeth. As he watches their unholy resurrection with great horror, kotrakoy open their minds to his and offer a glimpse into what life would be like wielding a mage's powers. As Shadow races to warn his people of the impending threat, he discovers a mysterious Trayki woman hanging from the trees and on the verge of death. Uncertain what to do, Shadow initially hesitates to rescue this woman whose people embrace technology and eschew his culture. As Shadow tends to her glider crash wounds, the earth unites them in a soul bond, a sacred union that gives Shadow an unerring duty to protect and preserve her life. And that duty will be fraught with peril: Trayki troops begin bombing Hiwalani villages and while losses mount, magic evolves and Shadow's people lose their power. The Hiwalani must rely on inexperienced youth to master the new magic and stop enemy attacks. Desperate to save their people, few make any progress at all. Only the outcast azh'nahn seems to understand it - and very few trust his judgment. When Shadow believes he's unlocked the solution, it involves empowering the most deadly kotrakoy and risking the complete annihilation of his people. While his solution sounds reasonable in theory, there is no time to test it - it's UNPROVEN.

Everything seems to be going wrong, betrayal, sickness, injuries... Will these three friends be able to push through the punches life in Middle Earth throws at them? Or will they end up falling apart? And what happens when the Orc, Bogwater, finds himself falling for Rain? *Title has been updated to be more self-explanatory. However, nothing in the story has changed. -DISCLAIMERS: NEW READERS READ BEFORE CONTINUING- •Scenes of Violence, Action, and some Language. • I do not own Middle Earth or the characters specifically created by Tolkien, all I own is Rain, Bogwater, Havish, and the plot to this story. •This story has many twists and turns, please don't freak out on me if something you don't particularly like happens. •This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit plot. This is an all original plot using my own characters that just happen to run into Gollum, Gandalf, and some others, including Elrond. This is DOES not tie into the novels/films in anyway. • I do not own any of the songs or pictures used to give depth to the story. • A story about self-acceptance and friendship.
