Leonardo De-Luca, became a father at the age of seventeen, but he never believed that the child was his, so he signed away his rights to the child. Four years later, he did some research and found out that Anthenéa is his daughter. For the next ten years of his life, he lived in regret of abandoning his own child. He tried everything he could to have her custody, but since he had already signed away his rights, he had to wait until Erika, his ex-girlfriend, mother of Anthenéa died. While Leonardo was living in regret, his daughter grew up, abused, starved and neglected. She also grew up to hate her father. Erika, told her that her father didn't want her cause she was ugly and a mistake, she grew up believing those words. What happens when Erika suddenly 'dies' in a fire and Anthenéa has to go to her father and uncles.
