After climbing the tower with each palette, every soul Smollusk absorbed into the Memverse were freed. Everyone is finally back to normal! "Huh? That's weird... you're not like the other enemies coded in here. Why can't I get a solid read on you? Whoa! You can talk? No, no, I can't actually hear you. But I can see lines of dialogue in your code that come and go. Crazy, right? It's like I'm reading your mind! Whoa... so "Order," the AI that runs this place, turned you into that thing? Heyo! This is my first Splatoon fanfic here, so I hope it's not too cringy. A bit of swearing (maybe), but overall, pretty friendly (I hope). I'd say 10+ for ages. And none of the photos or characters that are in the book belong to me, unless I say so. Anyway, on to the description. (Cover is credited to @ThatSaltyMango) Startled and afraid, (Female) Agent 8 fights for her freedom against (Male) Agent 3 after abandoning her squadron that was supposed to lead the getaway to Octo Canyon. Out of nowhere, they're both suddenly knocked unconscious and wake up in a dark lab, about to be sanitized. Will they escape? Find out. Reached #1 in Splatoon at some point during 2021 93,287 words (yes, i calculated dw), not counting the 7 intermission/notification chapters.
