It was those eyes that reminded me of honey on a hot summer's day. His eyes were a beautiful mixture of honey and chocolate. Captivating me wanting to know more about the mystery boy. His eyes held pain, which shook me to the core. I wanted to change what hurt him the most and help to turn his life around. I wanted to be there for him and to let him know that he wasn't alone through his hardships. But how can I help when I am locked out? I felt so helpless watching him hurt so badly. Slowly, he revealed to me the hurtful truth that broke the brown eyed boy. It was those honey brown eyes that I loved from the beginning.
