Freaks

We're only children.
None of us can even vote yet.
We didn't ask for this.
We didn't want to be the freaks that society shames.
But we are.
We didn't want our families to be murdered or twisted against everything they believed in.
But they were.
We didn't want this pressing responsibility.
But we have it.
And now we have to save the world.
