Sixteen year old Marley Lankfern lives by herself in a crummy apartment. Though not the most liked at school; she manages to make one friend. Her life goes through the same old routine, until three new transfer students arrive. Among them is the rather cold but beautiful Will Berlan. Unknown to her or anyone else, they are actually vampires. They were sent by a mysterious man to find a heart buried deep within the school's old Orchard tree. The only problem is they don't have the right person to sacrifice in order for the earth to open. Does Marley have anything to do with this?
