Yet, things are not what they seem. Sidney discovers Lawson is hiding a dark family secret that changes her life forever. Lawson's father, Leonard Pierson, will stop at nothing to keep his family's secrets. Framed and convicted of murder, Sidney turns to her attorney and family friend, Luke Brady, to clear her name.
Using the information Sidney discovers, Brady begins to unravel Pierson's secrets. Joined by Detective Roger Taylor and reporter Shelia Lee, Brady and his team seek to free Sidney. Meanwhile, Leonard Peirson looks to recover the lost information to protect his family's secrets.
