The Vanguard: Into the Stars (The Post-Apocalyptic Space Opera)

Roughly 3000 years ago, Humanity left their former homeworld due to an unforeseeable apocalyptic event that pushes them into the stars and colonized habitable planets in the small pocket of the galaxy by discovering new alien races and resources, reaching the zenith of the golden age of civilization. This leading to the new era of societal and technological advancements, maybe even better than their former civilizations.

However, an interdimensional war between the Frontier and the hostile eldritch dimension known as the Shadeverse hit the galaxy without warning, left both the colonist and civilizations across the frontier in shambles, leaving them a dark age of immense technological recession and hostile state of survival. Both Humans, Mutants and Alien refugees manage to work together to rebuild the system into its former glory but never as advanced as they were once were.

The Age of Dawn has started, raising from the ashes of the fallen homeworlds to rebuild their galactic civilization but in a dystopian-like yet hopeful future. However, such peace in the new world hangs on the balance from the hostile force of the interdimensional threats but this time, the Frontier is ready to fight back.

A ragtag team of metahumans from different walks, chosen by an unknown force to explore the dark sectors of the Frontier, uncover the mysteries of these unknown eldritch dimension and possibly fight back against horrors beyond the thin veil of fractured space.
