It's going to help if you've read the Heartstopper books plus This Winter and Nick and Charlie too I'm not going to lie. But if you haven't it's no big deal, just know that there will be spoilers and I'm warning you now of referrals to self-harm and eating disorders.
Yes, this will contain sex scenes and lots of them. No, I'm not sorry. Please don't read this if you want to keep the Heartstopper Universe retaining the same innocence as the books and comics, as this won't be for you. For anyone else who loves these characters but wants a more adult take, go right ahead.
I know how much the Heartstopper readers love Alice, her characters and her books, I do too. I have tried to be as faithful to these characters and the way/how they sound and think as I can, whilst moving their story into deeper tones.
So, with apologies to Alice Oseman, here is my humble adult take on Nick and Charlie (the characters, not the book. Well maybe a scene in that book too at a future date...)

TW: Eating disorder, Self-harm, ocd This story contains lot of menthal health stuff so please don't read if you're not comfortable with those topics. Nick's off to university and Charlie can't help but still worries. What if Nick finds someone better? What if our relationship isn't strong enough to do this long-distance-thing? On top of that, Tori is now going to university in Scotland and he can't even get a hug from her. Charlie starts distancing from his friends. But he'd never tell Nick that he gets bad again. Because Nick would definitly feel guilty. I just want to say that all this characters and their copyright lies with Alice Oseman and that this stories are based of the comics. The popular rugby-king Nicholas Nelson who's studying on his second year in Leeds, rumors are telling him being bi-sexual, but no one really believes it as true. But it doesn't take long when the rumor of these two boys going out spreads around the whole school and social media, but Nick doesn't mind hiding it. Who knows what the future holds, where the two will be in 15 years? Together or not? Everything is based on the comics, written by the amazing Alice Oseman. Nothing of this is from the acted series.
