Seventeen-year-old Charlotte James has it all. She has the grades, the looks, and the friends. She is also a shoo-in for valedictorian of her class. Everything is going according to her plan. Or at least it was. In early January of her junior year, Charlotte is diagnosed with mesothelioma; a type of terminal lung cancer. She is told by all of her doctors that she has only eight months left to live. At most. Stunned, Charlotte takes time to reflect on her life and realizes that she must face her fears and do something she thought was in her past. In hopes of making herself feel better before dies, Charlotte decides to rekindle the broken friendship with her ex-best friend and former childhood crush, Nathan. Nathan, who she hasn't seen since their horrific fight four years ago. But she isn't going to let her fear control her. Not this time. She needs to do what's right. One camping trip, two strangers, and three weeks to make things right. ⚠️DISCLAIMER⚠️ this book is not edited completely!! the printed version will be a little different FYI

Now they're stuck in the gray space between almost and never. Vera thought turning 18 would mean something. freedom, clarity, maybe even love. But when Erik, her so-called "18th," rejects her after years of unspoken feelings and quiet yearning, she's forced to confront a truth more painful than heartbreak: some people are never really yours, no matter how much you wish they were. In a world of shared glances, missed chances, and aching silence, Vera tries to rewrite her story-from charity trips to city lights, awkward hotel rooms to new campus cafés. And just when she thinks she's moved on, life throws her back into Erik's orbit. Because the past has a way of showing up-especially when you're not ready. 𝘖𝘕𝘎𝘖𝘐𝘕𝘎
