Daphne Greengrass was a Slytherin misfit. Never fit in anywhere. But because of where the sorting hat placed her, she had nowhere to store her secrets. This led to immense damage to her mental state. When that happens to a person gifted, or in Daphne's case, cursed, with the blood of the Greengrass line, they can be very dangerous. Daphne becomes more powerful and angry than ever. Guilt overcomes her, and she does things no person would do if they were at all okay. But then Harry Potter steps in. He comforts her, tries to get her through everything. The two eventually fall for each other, after her breakdowns are controlled.
