3000s, the world was filled with fear, diseases, dishonesty, backstabbing, and fitness survival.

Due to an incurable disease called 1117, which eats away at the brain, leaving people braindead and filling them with unmerciful rage, people have come together to set up Safe Zones and The Walls.

Zombies.

Beasts.

Creatures.

The Un-Dead.

People placed many names on the fallen humans to Disease 1117.

Safe Zones, the one lie that kept people hopeful for those who couldn't find The Walls. You could only find them in the Strictland, which was considered illegal by the Government, but people still made them. Finding a Safe Zone meant one of two things; a False Sense of Security or cannibals. If you were lucky, it was Cannibals.

The Walls were secured by the Guardian Government. No one was allowed in, and no one was allowed out. If you snuck in, The Guardians decided your deadly fate the second time you stepped foot. They always find you. They shut out the world, keeping the unaffected locked away and shunning the pitiful. Within The Walls was the Garden of Eden, rumored to be looking for a cure to Diease 1117, and everyone was dying to get in.

Yet, was it really beyond The Walls?

Will people open their eyes to the truth?

Would They break The Walls for safety for all, or keep it to live their deadly fate?

Will Wooyoung return to his family, or will he tear down the lies?

It's funny, really. It's funny how as kids we always played these zombie games and thought it would be so cool to be in a zombie apocalypse. We tried to figure out who out of our friend groups would die first, and who would live to the end. We were fascinated as young boys by the shooting games where you would blow a zombie's head off without a second thought. They were monsters. Nothing more. You barely thought of how they were once human. Because they weren't. It was just a game. Or it was just a movie. But when it became real life, you could see the family photos of the zombie you just killed. You could see the dead children who had been beaten to death by their own mother. The same mother whose skull you just bashed open on her kitchen floor for trying to rip your jaw apart. They were all once alive. And the outbreak ended their lives. They could have been your cousin, your friend, your neighbor. It could have been you. But you hold on to the fact that it wasn't. And because of that, you go on. ___ Set in 2037, two years after the worldwide bacterial infection called The Cure started, Mason Martinez and his two buddies try their best to survive in this post-apocalyptic world. But when Mason finds out about a so-called "safe zone" about 4 cities from where he stands, Mason strives to find it. Even if that means he has to cross the 4 main factions of his area. The Lab Coats, The Mercenaries, The Raiders, and the worst of all, The Salvation. And to find this safe zone, Mason is willing to do whatever it takes.

*COMPLETED* When Rosie turned thirty-one with nothing to show for it, she panicked. Suddenly it felt like her biological clock was ticking, but she didn't want to settle for a man for the sake of having a child. So, after falling down a rabbit hole of research online, she decided to find herself a sperm donor. A strangely vague profile ends up catching her interest. The only real thing she learned about him was that his name was Levi and he was in the military. One invasive and intimate procedure later, Lily was conceived. It was a few months after her daughter was born, when Rosie should have been fretting about the price of nappies and lack of sleep, her worries were overshadowed by an event she never, ever could have predicted: a zombie outbreak. Rosie locked herself away in Finches tower block, stocked up on supplies from abandoned neighbouring flats, and lived every day with the sole purpose of keeping her daughter alive. Doing so meant avoiding the dead as well as the living. She'd been doing a decent job of it so far. Until a man breaks into the tower block, but it wasn't just any man. It was Levi, Lily's literal sperm donor. And he was there to save them. -- When a bioweapon was released on UK soil, Staff Sergeant Levi James Brackley was sent from pillar to post in an attempt to help neutralise and contain. Once it was clear neither was possible the last resort was to form a safe zone on the Isle of Wight. Levi decided to stay behind. The last evac chopper left without him on board. He knew it was a shot in the dark, that they were probably dead already, but he had to try. Without knowing it, they'd become a beacon of light during the darkest time of his life. Now it was his turn to be there's.

First, the power went out. Second, it was the water. Then, it was the blaring horns that rang throughout the city. The portable radio they used was all static except for the occasional alarming words that no one truly believed because it was April 1st. The warning was there, they had time to make it out, but Seonghwa learned that it was best to listen to his screaming instincts rather than his roommate who told him it was nothing. Because look where his roommate was now. Or: Seonghwa attempts to survive through a zombie apocalypse and meets six loyal men and one cold-hearted and ruthless leader to help keep him company.
