Gracie is a seventeen year old girl who has not had the easiest start to life. She has been moved around the foster care system since she was four years old. When she was sixteen she made the decision that she would stay in the care home and not be fostered anymore until she was eighteen because it wasn't going anywhere for her. But then, on her seventeenth birthday her biological mother contacted her care home and with Gracie's curiosity she agreed to meet her. What will happen when Gracie's mother wants to make it up to her so much that she takes her on amazing trips and a summer long holiday? Can they be a family again or will her past get in the way?
