Lucy is anxiously entering her freshman year of high school. Lucy, her fraternal twin Danny, and their best friend Heather are excited for what this new chapter in their lives will bring them. The thing that Lucy is most excited for though, is that she will be attending the same school as her lifelong crush, a boy named Julian Casablancas. Lucy has had a crush on Julian for years, ever since they were kids. But, her heart ached at the thought that she was invisible in his eyes. Nothing more than that little "booger" he's known her as for all these years. He would never in a million years pay attention to her... would he? As Lucy embarks on her journey through high school, she discovers that maybe, Julian HAS always seen her. Except, he's not the only one.

Julian and Vincent have been inseparable since third grade, thanks to fate. They became each other's rock, supporting each other through thick and thin. As they grew older, they took different paths: Julian became the popular football team captain, while Vincent excelled academically and stuck to studying to get into college through a scholarship and study medicine as his mother wanted so he could help them, while also pursuing music at school. Vincent preferred the quiet life, unlike Julian, who thrived in the spotlight. Despite their differences, their friendship remained unbreakable. However, everything changed when Vincent fell for Decker, and he knew this secret could jeopardize their relationship and even put him in trouble. Vincent tried to brush off his feelings, but love doesn't work that way. Complicating matters, Julian had a girlfriend who was notorious for her mean streak at Arrison High. Vincent found solace in new friends Katherine and Tae, who were determined to bring him out of his shell. But a single party led to a setup, and Vincent became the target of relentless bullying. Now, he's fighting to survive high school, find his voice, his passion. However, he must navigate the delicate balance between pursuing his dreams and avoiding the pain of his mother's disapproval, all while uncovering the secrets of his own heart. Amidst the turmoil, his feelings for Julian still linger, while Tae is steadfast in protecting the boy he affectionately calls "cherry blossom" - his spring, his hope. Behind his charming playboy facade, his heart unexpectedly melts for Vincent, the boy he thought would be a fleeting distraction. Can two broken souls, scarred by the tribulations of life, find solace and love in each other's embrace? How far will they go to shield themselves from the pain of their past, and will they ultimately find the courage to open their hearts and let love in?
