Always Watch Out for the Quiet Ones

You know that one kid in the back of the class? The one who's always alone, and never talks, and doesn't really have any friends?

That's Haven Haddock for you. Total loner of Berk High, and overall ignored student of the school. He's smart, sure, and cute enough, but how come he never talks? And when he does, it's always straight to the point. Done. Final.

And we all know the opposite type: Popular, talkative, good-looking---the whole package. That would be Alina Hofferson. She's incredibly smart, plays on the volleyball and basketball team, has tons of friends, everything! Life is good, right?

But. . . . Alina has taken an interest in Haven. . . .

The most popular girl in school, and Loner Boy? Not a great match.

At least, that's what everyone else thinks.
