Tanza is an agender paramedic. They rely solely on themselves, and the last thing they need is for an incredibly attractive supervillain to disturb their (relatively) quiet existence. However, if time can prove anything, it is that sometimes what we need most is not what we could ever have imagined.
This story takes place in Gotham City, and therefore within the universe of DC (Detective Comics), making it technically a fan-fiction. Regardless, all the characters and storylines are my own work, except for a few Easter eggs which are aimed for DC fans.
I strongly believe the world of superhero fiction could use some diversity and that is exactly what I hope to gift you all with this novel!
Furthermore, I have absolutely no professional experience as a paramedic or EMT, so I did as much research as I could to try and have a realistic portrayal of this career, but of course it is not perfect. If you have any pertinent suggestions that could improve that aspect of my story, feel free to comment.

I feel your hands in mine
So this is a spinoff to a book I'm writing. Because I'm still in school I won't be able to publish the book, so this might be confusing but I will explain it very shortly here: What you need to know about this world is that there are demonic creatures called the nightimps invading the human world since centurys. Because of that angelic creatures created new humans called the lightslayers to protect the normal humans. They gifted them with fantastical powers. They are called Lightslayers and live in the otherside (kinda like a diffrent dimension on earth) where humans and nightimps can't enter. They get their powers at a ceremonie (most times when they age14. !!This story is about Alex Heart and Clio Graves and how they find out about one of the ugliest secrets of the council (the council are the rulers of the otherside). The secret: Damian Grumpy. And Alex feels stronger about Damian then he should.!! You should probably also know about the shadowslayers. They are roge lightslayers and are led by Kennie Freebird a crazy psycho who wants hell for the human world. !!This is a queer love story so if you don't like it, don't read it. I hope you'll enjoy this story as much as I enjoy writing it. (Also I have dyslexia so bare with me here!)!!
Started in the light, pulled to the dark ( a Sharkboy and lavagirl story)
I know what you must be thinking. Why not name this title ' the adventures of Sharkboy, lavagirl and whatever my name is'? Well because that would of ruin the whole story. For this is not really my story, i was not created as a dream. I'm an actual human and I did not come from max, nor planet drool. I was born on earth like every other normal child there is. The only thing different about me is that I have a special power. Although I don't seem to know about this power, nor understand how to use it I'm a main target for everyone. I can rather save everybody from a terrible event or destroy everyone within seconds. Because of this I am very weary around people and shy too. As I try my best to blend in it becomes harder and harder each day to keep my self from exposing this energy. The worse part is I don't even know I have it! Well not until later on. When a weak superhero meets a morally grey supervillain, who shall triumph? The answer may be something none of them had ever expected. Lol this is my story! It is definitely cringey because I'm bad at dialogue, and the running gag of the story is that I will use every conceivable romantic trope. Honestly just please don't give up on it too quickly, I promise it gets better. It is gay. Also, if you showed up from Pinterest I love you. No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride.
