Hiccup Hayden Haddock the third is son of Stoick Vast Haddock, the CEO of Haddock industries. They produce the most high grade weapons in the world. Hiccup is a young genius who completed his MIT graduation when he was 13. But due to his attempts to make non-violent weapons which failed miscerebly he was considered asa runt and a screw up. But after building Arc reactor and accepting his father's violent ways he is now the greatest inventor in the world. But when he gets captured by terrorists his whole world changes.

An unbearable pain sprints up my right leg and I scream in agony before I start falling once again. He takes to the skies with his night fury, Toothless, meanwhile ignoring Astrid's warnings about the distant storm clouds, a mistake he will later regret. A horrible series of events sends Hiccup and Toothless to a foreign land with no way to get home. The pair find themselves completely lost.

Hiccup has been betrayed by Astrid and banished and disowned by his father Stoick the vast. Hiccup leaves and vows that he would free all the dragons and show them the way to peace with the dragons. So he starts to raid the ships that have dragons on them and frees them. This continues for a year. He makes allies and enemies. His life seems ok but when he is shot down by a berkian dragon capturing boat. His life takes an usual twist......
