And why does she keep having visions of nothing but pitch blackness? Did something happen to her niece? And what will happen when a bully Skywing keeps making her doubt that being a hybrid is somehow wrong? Will Spirit be able to recover her regular self or will she give up and become a doormat? And how will a secret admirer come into play? Especially when Spirit begins to get more visions of strange giant creatures deep within the ocean. Dawn was signed into Blaze's army and fought her first battle, after many trainings with her only battle mate and friend Dingo. After Dingo's death at Dawn's first battle, Dawn didn't feel any better even after his death. Until she met a Skywing, alone and together, out in the dunes, and giving into this trusting feeling towards him she and her new friend set off on a course to a new life, away from their place and to their new and actual home. And deep in the sea, there was a Seawing dragonet, with her own opinions than others. As her friends and family all supported Blister for the war, Hurricane herself didn't trust Blister, the most scheming of the three Sandwing sisters. She believed that the Sandwing princess hid more plans behind those glittering obsidian-black eyes, some that could put their own Seawing tribe at risk. During the War of the Sandwing Succession, there are stories that you've read, but there are stories of other dragons, fighting to survive among the pages you flip through. Read on!
