Anna is your average unknowingly pretty girl with the peculiar predilection to understanding how the human heart works.
After five years living in Tokyo she suddenly finds herself tossed into the Borderlands without a clue of how to return to her beloved father in the real world.
Once she figures out the rules to surviving the Borderlands, Anna struggles with the notion of having to play in Hearts Games, apparently that being her strong suit.
Upon meeting a certain calm and collected Diamonds player, Anna finds herself drawn to the only person who's heart she can't fully understand.
When she meets Chishiya, everything she thought she knew about love falls to pieces.

Chishiya too, is struggling to understand why a foreigner girl of all people is stirring new feelings inside of him that he has never felt before. Everything he thought he knew about the human mind begins to crumble and his cynical views of the world start to change.
