Morgana has joined the side of Morgouse and has the whole kingdom fooled, except for Merlin. They used to be very good friends until he betrayed her. Now they are mortal enemies with him always getting in her way of taking over Camelot.
Little does Morgana know that the reason behind his decisions is an ancient prophesy, one that he is too terrified to break.
A strange phenomenon happens that changes both sides veiw of everything. What is this phenomenon? Their son from the future traveling to the past.

Connecting the dots
After some time, when the round table was just established and knights went out on patrols, they eventually start talking about events that have happened in Camelot so far. One day, some of them mentiones how Merlin always seems involved. Which is why Gwaine made it his mission to make Merlin the travel Cryptid. Why is he stealing dresses? How come he suspects someone of treason and the next day they find them dead with evidence of their treason around? After some time of this game called: connecting the dot's it becomes a thing. Thirteen-year old Squires Lancelot and Gwaine dropped Merlin off at a safe place. They began their journey back to their kingdom but were attacked by bandits. Desperate to find him before he finds her. When her search leads her towards Ealdor, she's surprised to find Arthur there, and with a scrawny peasant boy no less.
