It gets to a point when you realise that you're being used, and what can you do about it?
You're emotionally invested now and all you can think about is how they are such a nice person, when they want to be that is. They take you out for dinner and they make you laugh, but when you go back to theirs and they get what they want. Where is the after care? Suddenly the good morning texts start drying up, they are busy all the time and replies become fewer and less frequent. That's when you get the message you've been expecting. "It's not you it's me, and I really like you but I think we are better off as friends." At this point I'm done trying. Maybe something new and unexpected will come along for our Florence.
