Things We Took for Granted

In this actively changing world, one must adapt to the changes to be able to survive. We evolve for a purpose but a part of us will always remain constant. A part of us that we try to reprogram or extract but we can't. There might be a time when we'll become strangers to ourselves, not knowing who we are and what we've become. But memories from the past would always linger pulling us to rediscover our selves. We change but the past remains. You can hide but you can't always run. You'll grow tired but you'll eventually find rest when you meet that certain someone who can mend every piece that had broke off. We can't always be strong and we aren't perfect.
