Charlotte 'Charlie' Lennon is an English teenager who is living in Liverpool with his big brother, John Lennon, and her aunt Mimi. Even they're not really related, she's pretty similar to John, and also pretty close — they enjoy the same music, literature and they're also known as the 'rebels' and 'strange' guys in the neighborhood. This has the same rhythm until she met Paul McCartney in the highschool, and then her life twisted like a roller coaster. But will this friendship evolve in some more, counting that Paul is the new member of John Lennon band's, The Quarrymen?
