On the day of the flood that wiped out humans, three outcasts were gathered on the shoreline in the midst of a disagreement that escalated into a fight. When the flood arrived, ending humanity, each of the outcasts were swept away into the ocean where they promptly met their end. That was, what would have happened if not for a strange force, resurrecting them in a strange future filled with humanoid sea creatures. Will they ever truly discover their previous bonds washed away?

So much has happened the past few years, DJ Octavio's defeat in claiming the Great Zapfish, Commander Tarter's doomsday laser, and Mr. Grizz's failed attempt to bring mammals back to the planet. Some of which could have spelled the end of Inkling-kind and the end of the world, but now a year has passed and things have finally settled down for the New Squidbeak Splatoon. Sort of... DJ Octavio is still loose, and a band of criminals and disgruntled turfers has made a name for themselves in Inkopolis. And to make matters worse, the Great Zapfish has been stolen!...again. At the same time, a few creatures, the likes of which the world thought would never see again, has stepped back out into the light to a world they are never prepared for. But there is more to these creatures than it meets the eye. Can the heroic agents of Splatoon save the day yet again? And can these creatures cope with this new world they're thrusted into. And if these two races meet, will they bide in friendship, or will someone go splat? "P.S. He was "fished" out of the water by Capt. Cuttlefish and "Shell". Years later, he grew up to be the co-leader of Squidbeak Splatoon. But then the war came. He became a hero by saving Cuttlefish by being cornered and killed but he sacrificed himself for the win of the 2nd Great Turf War. Not too long after the war, he was dug up by the "CEO" of the F. A. O Agency. And became a valuable asset for them. Along with his new friend "Cross", they moved to the Plaza to live a normal life. But do they? Follow the adventures of Brooks and Cross. As they try their hardest to keep their identity secret. And will Brooks can finally stop reminiscing the past trauma? We won't know until we find out. Shall we start? One day, Jack finds himself washed up on a beach, mysteriously transformed into a Riolu suffering from amnesia with the only memory of a name and that they were a human. A Pikachu by the name Sparky, finds Jack on the beach and eventually, the two become an inseparable duo as they form an exploration team and go on many fantastic adventures. However, through all of this, time has begun to get out of control. Could this have any link in revealing who Jack once was? Only time will tell. (I would like to point out that this story will be very similar to its source material (i.e. story and events) and I have been given advice by someone, who will remain anonymous, and I have taken some of their tips to help myself, but I've also stated that I would enjoy it more by paralleling the story as I know it from the game. My intention here isn't to gain a massive viewership/following, but rather to simply have fun with writing my full retelling of the game. Y/n L/n is an exceptional soldier and even better person;someone who would rather save others then himself but in an unfortunate turn of events his battalion is slaughtered mercilessly through illegal means. Being the only survivor he wants to get back at them,so he enrolls into a top secret project that should in theory make him faster,stronger and,better luckily it works but he's got bad luck and, is locked in because of human error someone added too many zeroes getting him locked in for an unprecedented amount of time. Having not aged while in the project he is released just short of the end of the war with both sides in a stalemate he turns the tables winning and,becoming a hero in the eye's of his people. He would hope to live a normal life but that would never happen as a disaster so severe would strike humanity so he did what was best for everyone else rather than him.
