It's Strange What Desire Will Make Foolish People Do.
He catches a droplet of wine running from her lips to her chin with his thumb, his hand remains on her face as he cups her cheek with it he leans on his side so he's almost looming over her when she asks with a whisper "What are you doing?"
"Breaking the rules." He answers simply then he connects their lips together.
Following the chaos that broke out amongst the two factions within House Targaryen that evening at Driftmark Annerys Velaryon is betrothed to Aegon Targaryen by her Grandfather with the hope that their union might close the rift within his family.
Annerys accepts that for duty she must forgoe love yet the longer she is marrried to Aegon the harder it is to distinguish who her Love and her Duty belong to anymore.
When I set out to write a piece about House of The Dragon I started thinking about where a new character might fit in and how her story might have unfolded if she had been in Fire and Blood and rather than setting out to create a piece about Aegon.
So whilst love does develop between the two characters Aegon retains his core character traits which we watch Annerys respond to in a patriarchal landscape where she has no allies other than her husband as her family remain at Dragonstone.
My plan is to make a complex story with complex characters that can be read with nuance, but perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself.
Anyway I hope you give it a try.

~I think of how the mystics read by the light of their own bodies. What a world of darkness that must have been to read by the flaming hearts that turn into heaps of ash on the altar, how everything, in the end, is made equal by the wind.~ Daenys Velaryon lives only for others, yet within her heart, she harbours a whisper of selfish desire. She has dedicated her life to her brothers, becoming their staunch advocate, their steadfast defender, their eldest sister, entwined with their destinies. What purpose, she wonders, could she have if not in their service? Yet, in the quiet moments, when shadows soften the world, she dreams of a life unfettered, free from the heavy chains of duty and sacrifice. She does not covet the Iron Throne, nor does she wish to spill her blood for its cold, unyielding promise. However, to forsake her responsibilities and thrust them upon her brothers would make them a target of the realm's violence, defying the very essence of her being. For Daenys is nothing if not their protector, the guardian of their fate, even as she longs for a destiny of her own. **Prequel to An Eye for an Eye **Book 1/2 Rankings - #1 in houseofthedragon (2/7/2024) - #1 in aemondtargaryen (19/6/2024) - #1 in aemond (29/6/2024)Lengkap

DARK PARADISE ⚔︎ house of the dragon
in which Aegon and Saera are not allowed to marry, which ends up being everyone's problem but theirs (the chronicles of King's Landing's favourite scandal: from street sparring to kidnapping septons) OR, on a darker note Saera Targaryen and the cycle of lies that did not end with her. house of the dragon. Aegon Targaryen / targaryen original character (but they are messy and dysfunctional) minor side love interests.
Heart Of My Crown | A.Targaryen
She was a young lady that was loved by everyone He was a drunk king that was hated by everyone But apparently they were match made in haven Their marriage was nothing more than a political arrangement, a union sealed by the demands of the crown, not the desires of the heart. To Aegon II, Alessandra was meant to be nothing more than a silent, dutiful young wife, a figure to stand at his side and little else. But from the moment she entered his life, she defied every expectation. With quiet strength and unwavering grace, she challenged him in ways no one dared. She became his greatest passion, the steady flame that tempered his recklessness and silenced the whispers that called him unfit to rule. Under her influence, the king the realm once scorned became a sovereign worth following, not because of his crown, but because of the woman who stood beside it. Yet the gods weave strange and dangerous threads. Alessandra's kindness, her beauty, and the warmth she offered so freely would ripple far beyond the man she vowed to love. And in the shadowed halls of the Red Keep, even a queen's light can cast shadows long enough to lead other hearts into darkness... Aegon II Targaryen X Alessandra (OC) *all the credits except for my oc's go to George R. R. Martin and Ryan Condal
Villain's Savior
They danced in silence at first, but then Aemond broke it, his voice low and thoughtful. "You fight well, Aria. I've never seen anyone quite like you." She chuckled. "Thank you, but you gave me quite the challenge. I'll have to work harder if I'm to keep my title," she teased. Aemond's lips curved into a rare, faint smile. "Perhaps one day, I'll beat you. Until then, I'll watch your rise with interest." ------------------------------------------------------------------ **This is just a fun fanfiction that I have decided to write as I feel everyone in the book deserves so much better, especially Aemond.** The love story revolves around Aemond Targaryen and Aria Chan, his fangirl who loves him as she can relate to him and wants to save him and his future that turned him into a villain. A tale about how a fangirl unexpectedly got involved in her favorite novel and decide to save her beloved character. Note : I appreciate everyone who show their love for this story. Means a lot guys :) Love yaaaaaa !!!!Lengkap
Of Duty and Love
Aemond Targaryen/ Original female character House of the dragon Aemond Targaryen, the one eyed prince is in need of a marriage to further secure the family position, and pacify his chaotic heart. Alicent, begins the search and it seems like a proposal in the dornish might be in mind, but things might not go as planed, as the dornish woman that seems to speak to his heart is not the one that was originally meant for him. Troupes in this story: (minor spoilers) Choosing between two women, between what is expected versus what love commands, themes of arranged marriage, slow romance. It's not just a sickfic/sick character study only, but it will have major moments and full chapters where Aemond will be taken care of, specially by the main female, and it's a crucial point in the story, so it fits the sickfick/whump category. Note: This fic is written inside HOTD world, using some information from the book Fire and Blood as well, but is doesn't follow the canon. In this universe Rhaenyra gave up her claim, and Aegon will be crowned king. The story centers more in the greens, specially Aemond, but it will explore original characters. English is NOT my first language, the story will be revised when finished, but let me know if you see errors! <3Lengkap
These Ashes Between Us | A. Targaryen
{More Book accurate than Show accurate Cuz Fuck Ryan Condal & Sara Hess} Born in the heart of fire and blood, Saera Velaryon, the eldest daughter and heir of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, was a child beloved beyond measure-a princess draped in adoration, raised to believe the Iron Throne was her birthright. The realm called her *Saera the Spoiled*, for she had never known a world where she was not treasured. But war does not spare even the most cherished. When the Dance of the Dragons erupts, the realm fractures between Black and Green. Prince Aemond Targaryen, the one-eyed rider of Vhagar, stands at the forefront of the war, a blade in the name of his mother, Queen Alicent Hightower, and his brother, King Aegon II. A warrior forged in anger, ruthless and unyielding, but was his sword ever truly theirs to start? Aemond harbors a secret-a devotion that undermines the very cause he supposedly fights for. For all his wrath and violence, his heart has been lost to Saera since childhood, bound to her by longing, by fate, by a love neither of them dared to name. When duty and desperation forced them into an marriage before the war broke, their union was meant to be a bridge between Green and Black, a political bond to quell animosity and resentment. But beneath the weight of war and betrayal, behind closed doors and whispered confessions, *love*-unyielding, undeniable-has already taken root. Their love is a treasonous thing, a flame burning between two sides sworn to destroy each other. And in the end, when the blood of kin stains the realm and dragons fall from the sky, Aemond must make a choice-his family or his wife, his crown or his heart. For what is duty when weighed against devotion? And what is a throne when set against love? _ "And then the storm broke, and the dragons danced."
Twin Flame
A mysterious woman enthralls Aemond and Daemon. In her, they each find what they are looking for. She takes each of them to the precipice of their ego through a journey of self-exploration and passion. --- This fan fiction depicts Daemon and Aemond in a big brother/younger brother dynamic. They engage in a mutual love triangle with an ethereal woman that offers them both affection, gratification, and counsel. Despite political and personal differences, Aemond and Daemon find themselves forever connected by their love and, at times, obsession of her. This story exists in an "alternate timeline" where Viserys has not named Rhaenyra (or anyone, for that matter) as his heir. This is a slow-ish burn (trust the process!) that is a bit ~spicy~ but plot focused (to say--spice isn't the whole point of the story).
War of hearts
An Aemond Targaryen love story. Her name is Visenya Targaryen/Valaryon , second to her name. Her Mother is Rhaenyra and her "father" is Leanor Valaryon. Aemond and Visenya were friends once. But when he called her brother bastards and raised a stone at Jace's head, her younger brother Luke took out his left eye. Visenya's heart grew bitter with her uncle. But he doesn't give up her. Will she forgive him? Will they become friends or more? Or will they become enemies? She'll be at war with her heart. And she'll have to choose a side. What side will she choose? . . . . . Based of House of the dragon. I haven't read the books, so my knowledge come from the show and tiktokers whom have read the books and give me simple info. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters expect Visenya, second of her name, and her dragon.Lengkap
