That the only reason she likes to hurt other people, is to keep herself from feeling that pain. Luna Moon- the normal civilian living in a world that gets possessed by shadows. The girl who is obsessed with the old children's tales and is one of the few normal people that still believes in them. She doesn't know that believing those stories, having a heart of gold, will lead her to her death eventually.

Finn doesn't remember anything outside of the hospital, the first thing he could remember was the chemical tank. He's not sure why he's put in there so often, but isn't allowed to ask many questions. He's eventually introduced to the rest of the gifted, he explains to Hallie his time in isolation, not understanding how important he's become. The doctors and therapists are keeping many things from the gifted, and with the help of Finn, Hallie's going to figure out what.
