How elaborate are the threads of fate..

Desdemona Rhiama was a mistake at conception, and his grandparents ensured he knew it. Aasimar politics are unknown by most in Faerûn, but for the Rhiama family it is everything. Growing up tormented by the burdens of never being holy enough, for being the reason his divine and perfect mother died, one could never think that he could rise to be anything except a troublemaker, like his father. Little could he, or anyone know that his journey was only beginning, and it would take him far beyond the boundaries of the Swords Coast. Tragedy in wait, how could a child with anger issues be the Bane of Barovia's darkest shadow?

My Dungeons and Dragons game of the Curse of Strahd module is just so good that I simply cannot keep it to myself. Draculadoll (ao3 username) is the coolest fucking DM i have ever had in my entire life; i dont know whats wizards of the coast and whats feyr's except for this: fey very intentionally gender-swapped Strahd, and so now she is Strahdanya von Zarovich and I wouldn't have it any other way. I made the most traumatized character to play in the masterpiece, and I wanted to share it with the world. If you like DND, Gothic Horror, Whump, etc., you'll love this.

CW: Childhood Abuse (physical, mental, psychological, neglect), Religious Trauma, Gothic Horror, Blood and Violence. No knowledge of DND needed

"You will seek death but you will not find it. You will long to lose consciousness but ever present you shall stay. Finally alone you will shrivel up and die without your own kind in all your magnificent splendor, and only after everyone you love is dead. By then, it will no longer matter, for when you finally have your light you will depart from it faster than fire from a raging wind. But perhaps you would have comfort yet little one. Death is a sweet thing in a world like this." Cursed by a Wishing Dragon when she was only a dragonet, Stygian sets off in search of a cure, leaving behind everyone she knows and loves. On her journey for help she meets more enemies than friends, with a little red fox as her only companion. At last she finds Turbulence; God of Confusion; the only one who can save her, or so he or she claims. *** Fyran, the Librarian's Apprentice is on the hunt for Leviathan; a legendary beast long foretold by prophecy, a prophecy she had disregarded as an old fable. Yet, ever since her father stumbled into their broken down house one dark night covered in blood and deliriously talking about a dragon with iron teeth, Fyran is no longer so sure. After her father dies and renders them all penniless, Fyran goes in search of this creature to take revenge-and the huge bounty on its head issued by the King of Sufta. Perhaps she will be successful and they'll no longer have to grovel as the poorest of the poor, and at the very least she'll acquire justice for the murder of her father, the only father she's ever had. But there is an old and forgotten prophecy as old as time fast approaching on the horizon. Nobody can stop it, fate is a force that can't be reckoned with, and everything that ever has and will ever happen to every citizen has already been foretold in their scrolls. The fate of Sufta is uncertain, and powerful forces are at play, but who has enough discernment to understand a long forgotten prophecy that's been dismissed by generations?

"How could you... last night... I was helpless! You are the one who molested me! And you dare do it again now!" she huffed. Khail wasn't affected with her crying. "Yes, I dare. You are just too sweet not to be tasted." His statement rang deep in the back of her mind. These were the words of an insensitive, cold-hearted demon. No more, no less. He was lusting on her --yes he was-- and that was the rightful particular emotion of choice. "I said don't come any closer!" she cried again when she noticed him inching more towards her. "I will stab you! I swear I will stab you demon or not!!!" she threatened, but it was only gibberish talk for Khail. "Nonsense Selene. Stab me if you want," he urged and this surprised her greatly. He continued to close in on her and this time, Selene didn't hesitate plunging the knife into his chest. ~ S ~ Easy for Supernaturals to live their life in what everybody calls 'forever'. That is easy for angels yes, but for demons, it is most likely a damnation of boredom. And that -- is the truth. However, how much more would it be for a demon who has a unique power to wield time and space? What is HE to do with such an unlimited lifetime then? ~ S ~ So this is a 5-part short story about Khronus and Selene that is stand alone but still connects to my book, SANCTUM. "Everyone loves a good fantasy, but my life was turned upside down by one." What would you do if you had the ability to control the air? How about if you were suddenly brought to a world where, despite your powers, you're at the bottom of the food chain? On a fateful night, Max Walker finds himself summoned to Asterisk and contracted to Liliana Lockwood as her familiar. Forced to leave behind his life on Earth, Max begins a precarious journey into the unknown world of magic. Training as a knight, learning to control mana, battling rogue necromancers and even being mistaken for Duke Walker's son... it's just one thing after the next. But as if that wasn't bad enough, Asterisk, a world which subverts reality as you know it, may just have something to do with Max's own heaven-defying origin... and a secret that could leave the universe hanging by a thread. You were friends with Hector Munday in the past. A certain incident caused you to leave school and thus you were seperated for many years. You gained the opportunity to work for Lonnit Entertainment after applying successfully and after many business trips and movies made, you were brought in on the journey to the World's Fair Hotel Replica on an island in Michigan. Soon enough...things turn south and you realize that your past is starting to haunt you. Warning: Spoilers for Granthem Du'Met's true identity. Also spoilers for the storyline of The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me. I gave my best to censor the death scenes as best as possible but the game truly is...brutal. WARNING: This story includes manipulation, psychological torture and physical violence. I ask for forgiveness beforehand. It's not making much sense to turn Du'Met nicely from the start when I am mostly aware of his character in the game. I promise however there will be development from there. This story will also be available on ArchiveOfOurOwn. Previously it was meant to be a mini-stories but due to the length of it, I adapted it into it's own book instead similar to what I did with Resident Evil 3 - Change of Heart. It's recommended to only read this if you either already played the game or watched a full playthrough of it. Enjoy reading. The Dark Pictures Anthology is a game series developed by Supermassive Games. Everything related to The Devil In Me belongs to them except my own interpretation of a alternative storyline.

Dante Aurelius grew up in the boring village of Arthedain as a noble of the Silvermoon noble house. She dulled from the never ending life of hardship bestowed upon her family upon her birth for the debt that was owed to keep Dante alive and free for as long as she lived. It all came crashing down one, fateful night when she was awoken from palace guards shaking her awake and guiding her to a horse and sending her away from the mansion, her parents screams heard in the distance. She wandered for days in the forest, shadowed by the Whitehorn Mountains until she came across a man of the forest. A Dunedain Ranger. Who not only saved her life but freed her from a lifetime of servitude and made her one of his own as well as adopted her. Will Dante fall off the deep end and snap from the loss? Or will she rise above all else and push past the pain and sorrow? (Hey guys! This book is honest a work of fan fiction in a way and has been comprised from my Discord RP server. Dante, Azura, Connor and most all of the other characters come from the server, Dante being my OC. I do not take all the credit for every last idea in this book but a lot of it is custom written, though as I mentioned not all of it. I will not claim to be a good writer but since I enjoy it I figured why not make a book containing the backstory of Dante Aurelius and go from there. I hope you all enjoy this as a read regardless.) READER NOTE: This story was completed on a cliff hanger since all the content from this story came from a rp I ran on discord. That rp no longer exists, so this is all that remains. I may choose to add to it at a later date if the story gets more reads. ♡

Esme "Ever since birth I've been looked at with eyes of hatred, despair, fear, as well as pity... no one has ever looked at me with love, care or desire... I want someone to see me as not a lonely orphan, but a girl that needs love." Dazod "Everything always has and always will be set in stone for me. No matter what happens, I am going to rule this dimension. As given the title 'Demon Lord', and it is a huge honor... however there is a part of me that doesn't know if this is the path I truly want..." ~ Esme is a human girl, lonely since the day of her birth.
