ema is a girl who has been neglected by the people around her since her childhood. her parents too are harsh towards her and her pride-swollen, useless, lumpen brother too creates terrible troubles for her! she is always left behind in her school by her classmates. but, during every recess ema experiences the joy of getting lost in the enchanting world of stories, which is a true heaven for her. but one fine day, with the same loneliness and with the company of her two dearest best friends ema is thunder stricken to discover that her life has has come to a turning point. her life is entirely renovated by her fate and she becomes the 'apple of the eye' for everyone. but just then, ema takes a tough decision......

Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. They got along just fine for the next two years, they somehow managed to get through the tough times together and they thought it would stay that way, the two of them against the world.
