Blossom: Flawed Humans Vol. 1

The age at which they gain these abilities determines the strength of these powers, with those gaining them at the earliest stage of life being called "Bloomers," and people who either do not have them yet or awaken them later on in life being called "Late Bloomers." Society has found a way to work around this evolution, but it functions somewhat differently from our own. With slight differences as the America east coast joined together into one "superstate,". The story follows Sasha McCrory, a late bloomer from the more rural part of what was once Virginia, in her senior year at one of the most violent high schools in the country. We follow her and her friends as they navigate through their final year at the notorious Blackwell High School. At the same time, we dive into their mental struggles, find out about the strange semi-dystopia they live in, and dive into themes such as rediscovering optimism from a pessimistic mindset and rehabilitation.

They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
