In a world where having an illness equates to being slowly possessed by a devil, masochistic medical student Shaniv takes the extra mile to avoid getting himself checked out until he woke up finding out he was on the news that one night- wreaking havoc in the city of Meru, screaming and laughing while on a rampage; slicing vehicles and setting them on fire, punching buildings until they fall, and tossing children out and about from where they are, chopping dicks off and shoving it down the dick owner's throat until they gagged.
The story later unfolds to exposing the dark sides of multiple industries exploiting this phenomenon: from hospitals providing expensive drugs to the "devils' victims" that only makes it either worse or stay permanently to schools spreading misinformation and manipulating research data to sway the truth about devil possessions.
After all, the devil is (within) us.

So um this story may be on hold as I have lost interest and have no idea how to continue the story... . (Disclaimer, there is NO smut/inappropriate things, just cute and wholesome~♡ but warning, there may be some dark themes throughout.) . . This story is basically a sonic the hedghog fanfic. It's set in a dystopian reality. im still figuring out everyone's stories even the main plot. But I just go along as my mind pleases. The main 'object' that stirs this story is a plant, named the agony night floret, that infects living things. It was created accidentally in a facility by money hungry mobian scientists and main boss, scarlett the fox. she is the main 'villian', surprsingly not eggman lol. the agony night floret infects mobians, putting them in these stages. first a purple blue rash, then disconfiguration then having the chance to rott and turn into creepy lifeless zombie ish creatures, not hostile but really contagious. They roam around isolated areas. Or, they have the small chance by transforming into these cannibalistic 'flesh-gorgers', coming in different types, 3-4 times bigger than hosts/Mobians size. sonic and his friends travel firstly through the thick, white, winter forests, named 'Nobelwoods' in Nahada, trying to find the facility of where it all happened, while unexpectedly coming across a familiar haze of a huge mossy concrete structure of shadows old-old home. Burnt. It will be told why in the story. this story is about a scientist in Antarctica slowly losing his sanity I can feel the corners of my lips tug upwards and before I know it, I'm cackling. My laughter rings through the empty room, bouncing off the walls as I double over in hysterics. Despite the dire situation, I can't seem to stop.
